DTF Gang Sheets: Why use gang sheets over individual prints?
What is a DTF gang sheet?
- A DTF gang sheet is a large sheet of transfer film that contains multiple designs arranged closely together.
What is the importance of a DTF gang sheet?
- A DTF gang sheet enables the consolidation of multiple designs or images on a single sheet, which optimizes material usage and reduces production costs. By printing several items simultaneously, the unit price per image or design decreases, leading to significant cost savings.
Customization Options:
- Gang sheets offer customization options as you can create sheets with a mix of designs based on specific customer orders or product requirements. You are able to size your designs to your own order needs without having to pay an additional price for a vendor or graphic design artist to do it for you.
The REAL importance of ordering DTF's by gang sheet vs. individual transfers:
- When ordering DTF transfers individually, you pay one set price regardless of the actual design size. For example, when ordering an adult 12" x 7" individual DTF transfer, the cost is $5. When ordering an adult 12x12" individual DTF transfer, the cost is also $5.
- Now, when you make use of building a gang sheet (or the gang sheet builder applicaton on our website), you may select a gang sheet size of 12x12" and insert a 12x7" design PLUS use the remaining space of your 12x12" gang sheet to insert another design OR several pocket designs. You get the best bang for your buck and there isn't any wasted space on your sheet or wasted money! It's really a no-brainer when it comes to ordering DTF's.

But, but, but.... Your individual options are better than what I have to build a gang sheet full of images! DO. NOT. FRET. Ya'll...my graphics are in the builder for you to use! Yes, you read that correctly. MY GRAPHICS ARE AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO BUILD YOUR GANG SHEETS!! To protect my work and the work of other graphic designers, all images in the builder ARE watermarked. They may only be use IN my gang sheet builder on my website and ordered directly from Emerald & Ink only.
If you peek around in the builder, you have the option to upload your own image or choose images from the gallery (my graphics). When using your own graphics, be sure you have read up on the instructions in the listing for the best graphics to use, file formats, sizes, etc. If you have any questions at all, please reach out!
